As a YAA intern, you’ll take part in professional development workshops, contribute to real projects, and support ongoing initiatives within the organization. Interns meet biweekly with the Chief of Staff for guidance, collaborate with peers, and take on leadership opportunities. By the end of the program, interns will have gained hands-on experience, earned volunteer hours, and built valuable skills to showcase on resumes, college, and scholarship applications.

Become an Ambassador! Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Start a branch/club in their school and community.
- Distribute information, events, workshops, and flyers to your school/school district and - Attend monthly zoom meetings with the Volunteer Coordinator. ​
The purpose of an Ambassador is to make your school and community aware of YAA's resources and activities.

Become a Team Member! Team Member Responsibilities:
Team members are the behind-the-scenes operators of the organization. Depending on your role you can manage the social media, read literary submissions, manage the website, and much more! We look for team members who are dedicated, great at communication, teamwork, and creativity!
